Why is Thames Water installing a water main?

Thames Water is currently installing a new water mains from Tilehurst to Fobney. Under powers accorded to it by the Water Industry Act, Thames Water is entitled to install this mains across our land as well as other pieces of land in private ownership. This work is not being undertaken in relation to Blue Living's proposed development.
