Will this really be delivered, given the current economic climate?

It is clear that the current economic climate has led to many developers slowing down or ceasing activity on projects across the UK. Given that we are at such an early stage in preparing the proposals for Pincents Hill and the fact that construction would only commence at earliest in late 2010 and last for some five years or so, it is very difficult to predict whether the current financial climate will still apply over that period. However it does not mean that the need for new housing has diminished; many people have been excluded from the housing market due to a shortfall in housing. Investment in quality sustainable developments can stimulate the economy and create new employment.
