Blue Living was formed in 2007 by Directors and staff of leading strategic sustainability consultancy Beyond Green with a determination to create elegant, resilient places, economies and communities that inspire and enable healthy, pleasurable and environmentally sustainable 21st Century living. Blue Living seeks to combine the highest quality place-making, architecture and public realm with sound whole-life economics, progressive social policies, and active community development to create opportunities for individuals and families to adopt more sustainable lifestyles and behaviour.
In January 2008, Blue Living acquired 48 acres of land on the south west edge of Reading in West Berkshire. Blue Living submitted an application for outline planning permission for Pincents Hill in July 2009. More information can be found in the Projects Section of this website.
